Abstract
The aim of this meeting is to examine the types of cultural practices that have emerged following the exceptional circumstances of the Covid-19 pandemic. These conditions mandated social distancing and a reliance on remote audiovisual communication, in contrast to classic and traditional methods.
In addition to the impact of the lockdown period on artistic expression, the debate will turn towards collective memory—the crucible of society’s perception of pandemics. This allows for a description of these phenomena, the methods used to confront them, and the various rituals associated with them.
Within this framework, the seminar will open a discussion on several essential questions:
1. Cultural Expressions and the Pandemic
Literature and Music: The novel, storytelling, poetry, and song.
The Arts: Visual arts and graffiti.
2. The Pandemic in Popular Culture

Folk Medicine and sanitary lockdown procedures.
Folklore: Popular tales and folk poetry.
The Pandemic in the Religious and Social Imaginary.
Customs and Practices during the pandemic.
