A professor at the University of Tizi Ouzou and President of the Supreme Council of the Arabic Language, he has spent his career in university teaching and has authored numerous publications specialising in Arabic linguistics.

Permanent researcher and Research Director specialising in linguistics within the humanities. He serves as a Unit Director on Culture, Communication, Languages, Literatures, and Arts (UCCLLA). Throughout his career, he has led and contributed to numerous major institutional research projects focusing on manuscripts, folk tales, Ottoman-era poetry, and oral literature in Algeria.
