"The research project entitled: Funeral Notices in the Written media. Components and Characteristics’ builds on two research projects included in the programmes of the CRASC. The first is entitled: ‘Funeral inscriptions in western Algeria: stereotypes and renewal’. The second was included within the framework of National Research Projects (PNR: 2011–2014) focusing on :Gravestone Inscriptions in the Aïn El Bayda Cemetery in Oran and the Amdouha Cemetery in Tizi Ouzou . These projects aim to highlight the discourses of those involved in the face of death. "
