Literary Fields and Writers' Strategies

This volume brings together a selection of papers presented during the international symposium held on November 7 and 8, 2012, at CRASC in Oran, focusing on Literary Fields and Writers' Strategies. The texts presented here attempt to address, in part, the themes developed in the symposium’s conceptual framework by examining various cultural areas distinguished by languages - French, Arabic, German, Tamazight, and English; countries - Algeria, Congo, Madagascar, the United States, France, Germany, Belgium, etc.; and individualized trajectories (Sony Labou Tounsi, Jean-Luc Raharimanana, John Edgar Wideman, Wassiny Laredj, Maxim Leo, Gil Ayech) or collective groups (the Parnassian circle, Kabyle literature, etc.)."
